After three and a half excellent months here, the time has come to say goodbye to Berlin and return to England. Today's amulet is designed to help me actually "say goodbye" - I am really not very good at endings... at all. So, I'm hoping that by combining two of my favourite pass-times - pilfering lines from pop-songs and wearing homemade badges - I can get a little bit better at it. It's 9:28 now and I have already done my first proper "goodbye" and a slightly awkward shaking-of-hands-rather-than-hug manoevure with my flatmate. Surely I can only get better at this as the day goes on?
