I have had my fingers crossed for a few days that "The Big Freeze" in the UK would have finished by the time I was flying, and I am happy to report that I got home safe and sound, without even a hint of snow! This amulet is the first one that hasn't taken some kind of object form but when I was playing around with ideas for something that could protect me from flight cancellations due to snow, this kind of graphic form seemed to work best. I think it would also make an excellent repeat pattern for a jumper design (old-fashioned Christmas jumper style), or perhaps a fetching ski-headband but, alas, one day just wouldn't be long enough for me to get it knitted!!
